Service was prompt and friendly and the prime rib melt was really good (a bit greasy but very tasty). The bartender came over to chat when it got slow and the view is fantastic. I will definitely be back.
The absolute best fried mushrooms ever. Burgers and ribeye sandwiches were really good, too. Service quick and friendly. Beautiful view looking out over the lake.
Fun place, pizza was good. Had the supreme thin crust. A little slow with Lack of server help but very friendly. We had a great time, no where else to go.
We arrived at Charlie’s on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in early August. The weather was warm but felt perfect with the light breeze coming off the water. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by the amazing lake views from our impeccably clean adorable cabin just steps off of the lake. It was just three of us for the week but you could easily sleep 9+ in the quaint wood cabin. With a full kitchen as well as a fire pit and two grills we were set for meals if we wanted to cook. However we found it hard to cook when just steps away was a great bar and grill with daily specials you just couldn’t pass up. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming it made us feel like we belonged even though we were hours from home. We spent our days out on the lake fishing and had no problem reeling in the perch that lake Metonga has an abundance of. At night we enjoyed a cool drink lakeside by the fire taking in the breathtaking sunsets. I highly recommend Charlie’s and can’t wait to go back again and again.
Just WONDERFUL!! Excellent service EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT atmosphere. I LOVE this place. My best pal and I had fish, we both ordered broiled fish, I received the broiled fish, my pal received deep fried, which is what he wanted anyway!! lol I can't say enough about the relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and the great sunset view over Lake Metonga!! It is worth the drive! 4 stars because the order wasnt correct. But like I said it's what he wanted anyway (:
